fun trips make for fun photos

A couple weeks ago our family went on a trip to visit our families.

We started out at my parent's home.

Here is some home-grown lettuce. Yum!

We visited a very fun museum with tons of activities and pretend things to do!

Don't all fire-fighters have their grandma's help them get dressed?

We also went to Meme's house.
And honestly, its my favorite place to shoot photos.
It is a farm with tons of rustic amazing things to shoot.
Also my kids tend to smile alot while they are there, so I usually get a few good ones of them.

Last week we got to hang out with one of our favorite families, the Livingstons.
Despite much rain over the weekend I got some good photos of their sweet family!!
I am starting to play around with lighting effects . This shoot was in the evening and the sun was setting, so I am playing around with colors and such. Enjoy!

It's really hard for me to not caption each photo. It would be a bunch of

I love letting kids just be kids(and dads be dads) and getting photos of them while doing so!!
