SHACC & conquering fears!!

My husband and I just returned from one of the coolest camps ever, Seneca High Adventure Christian Camp. Shay was the speaker and I got to take pictures. We also hiked a bunch and I conquered my fear of heights by hiking to the top of Seneca Rocks!! Here are some of my favorite photos of the week!

We hiked 9 miles all together! Whew!

Cool bubbly foam at a waterfall.

God is so creative!

Zip-lining below a waterfall is pretty awesome!

More hiking.

I walked across this bridge on the way up the mountain.

I didn't have the courage to rock-climb, but I was able to catch some photos while hanging on to the mountain for dear life.

All of these shots were taken while I sat on my butt on the side of a mountain!
I couldn't even stand up b/c I was so scared. But I still able to catch some cool shots!

The Hubs
He wasn't scared at all.
And he was so patient with me when I cried out of fear!

We were blessed to be a part of SHACC.
We enjoyed seeing so much of God's beautiful creation.

P.S. Happy Anniversary to my hubby and me! 6 years!

Tony & Mallonee revisited

A few months ago I shot Tony & Mallonee's Engagement pictures.
I have been piddling (does anyone else use that word other than my mom and I?) around with a few of their photos lately and wanted to share.

(Tony, I pray you keep those eyes focused on God)

You can check out the original post of Tony & Mallonee's pictures HERE.

Aren't they cute?!

I get to shoot a sweet brother and sister next week! I can't wait!!

Ring "Bear"

So this past weekend our family traveled to some dear friends' wedding! Ginger & Cody's special day was beautiful and amazing! Shay did the officiating and I ran around after the ring-bear (that is what he called it) and his crazy & screaming sister. I shot a few photos along the way....

How awesome is this???

I felt so official and fabulous when I saw this.
Cody and Ginger had their engagement photos on display at their reception.

Cute, Huh?

Rehearsal.

I love that God has blessed me with a boy and a girl!

He is a pretty handsome ring-bearer, huh?
He fell asleep on my lap as soon as he walked down the aisle.

This is how Nomes felt about posing for pictures:

So I put the camera down and picked her up:

This is the story of my life.
My own children HATE having their photos taken!
What is the deal??

Later she cooperated, but on her terms this time:

My two favorite men:

Just have to take a chance to show off my love

Micah had some dance moves at the reception

And here is Micah's reward for being the ring-bearer!!

We had a great time being a part of Ginger and Cody's wedding!
I do wish I had a chance to take more photos but my hands were a bit full.

The next few months are filling up with some fabulous people who are allowing me to capture their precious moments! And I could not be more excited!!! Stay tuned!

Baby Sami

This summer is filled with play-dates.
Micah's best-friend, Cole, has a very cute baby sister.
Sometimes she comes along for play-dates.
And, I can't resist her cuteness!!

Hello World! I am Sami!

And I have secrets!

Notice my assistant's hands?

Naomi was very, very helpful!

And I do think Sami likes my assistant!

These fingers are not giving me milk!!

Smooch from mom!

I need to train my assistant to make herself invisible in photos!

Thanks for checking out Sami's sweetness.
She is waving "Bye, Bye."
